Elevate Your Well-Being with Yoga Classes and Workshops
Gentle Hatha Flow is a gentle class utilizing breath and gentle movements to open up the body. This class is safe for beginners and those with limited movements. All levels are welcome while focus is on breath, stability, and soft movements.
Yoga is an ancient practice that aligns the body, mind, and spirit through postures, breath control, and meditation. Modern science now recognizes its benefits for both physical and mental health. It enhances flexibility, strengthens muscles, and promotes relaxation by stimulating key systems, including the nervous and endocrine systems. It helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and boost well-being by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, supporting healing and recovery.
Yoga also improves brain function by regulating the stress-response system (HPA axis) and reducing emotional stress linked to the limbic system. Regular practice strengthens the nervous system, improves circulation, and promotes overall mind-body harmony, while enhancing posture, balance, and coordination.

Through deep, intentional breathing and meditation practices, yoga helps lower cortisol, promote relaxation, and quiet the mind.

Yoga postures, combined with breathwork and mindfulness, can significantly reduce chronic pain, in lower back, neck, and joints.

Poses that open the hips, shoulders, and spine can counteract the effects of sedentary lifestyles, making it easier to move freely.

Yoga is designed to restore balance to the body and prevent further injury for those recovering from muscle strains or joint injuries.
Jill Molinaro
Hi there! My name is Jill, I am honored to be part of the community here at Fermata Integrated Health.
Since 2004, amongst raising my three children and experiencing this crazy beautiful life, I have held quite a strong Yoga & Mediation practice and also found some time to dive into several Yoga Teacher Trainings. In January of 2012 I began my teacher training journey with Moksha Yoga (Hatha) in Brazil. I have since continued my education studying Yoga Therapy with Susie Hatley, Restorative Yoga with Judith Lassiter, Vinyasa Flow with Seane Corn, PowerFlow (Baptiste Yoga) with Pam Radar, teacher training with Nicki Doane (Maya Yoga), Ashtangha Vinyasa Flow training with Geoff Mackenzie from First Light Yoga, Vancouver, and YOTI (Yoga on the Inside) with Eddie Modestini and Trauma Informed/Sensitive Teacher Training through Yoga West which is affiliated with The Centre for Trauma and Embodiment & TCTYSY (Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga).
Every class & training I have taken has been an integral part of creating the teacher I am today, however; no teacher, training or book has prepared me more to stand before you more than this human experience of living life!
Each class I walk into knowing that it has the capacity to be a transformational journey for each individual; the simple fact that I have the opportunity to help facilitate such an experience is an honour. Any opportunity I have to stand before you in the practice room, I am standing WITH you, with great compassion, love, and deep respect for your personal experience.
I look forward to practicing with and guiding each and every human who walks through these doors.

Aloha! I’m Wendy — born and raised in the Okanagan, with nearly 20 years spent living in Hawaii and California before returning to Kelowna in 2013. My path in fitness and wellness began over 30 years ago, teaching adaptive fitness classes and later spinning, kickboxing, and college-level Adaptive PE.
After facing burnout and a personal health crisis in 2019, I turned to yoga, mindfulness, and holistic practices to rebuild my nervous system resilience. These tools became life-changing — especially when I later underwent life-saving neurosurgery. Visualization, breathwork, and movement helped guide me through healing, and inspired me to become a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher.
Today, I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where others can recharge, build resilience, and reconnect with peace. When I’m not teaching, I’m out hiking with my daughter, enjoying Okanagan wine, or planning my next adventure.
Much Aloha — see you on the mat!
Wendy
